Alumni association of Karnataka College of pharmacy (AAKCP) organized its first alumni meet on 6th December 2014 with the theme Harmony one community many stories at Karnataka College of pharmacy campus. The program planned in the month of October itself. Attendants were from 7 alumni batches graduated in the year 2007 to 2014 (first graduating batch). It was a great pleasure to know about their achievements and accomplishments in professional lives. Most of them were visiting their alma mater for the first time since their graduation and naturally they were excited, thrilled to be back in college campus again. They proudly took stroll around the campus where they lived and spent time during their college days. Prof BasavarajRamnal Chairman Karnataka education trust, Bangalore was the chief guest and SuvarnaRamnal was the guest of honor of the inaugural function of the Alumni meet.
Director Dr K Ramesh and principal Dr T Prabhakar addressed the alumni association (AAKCP) welcomed the guest and sought their assistance in providing the inputs for uplifment and improvement of students in training / education. Dr T Prabhakar, secretary AAKCP briefed the gatherings regarding the objectives of AAKCP and enlightenment that alumnus’s are the brand ambassadors of the institution and vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured and also shered their views and experiences from the different fields where they were placed in and around the globe which was highly appreciated and acknowledged by the Karnataka college of family.Dr Nagarathna proposed vote of thanks, Mr. T Srinivasrao, Mr.Sandipan Chatterjee, Mrs Beney baby, Mrs Baggiyaselvi and other core committee members were also present.
As the alumni meet was organized on decennial celebration, all the alumni’s were delighted for their participation and expressed their gratitude.The evening was devoted to research through various cultural activities. The current students of Karnataka College of pharmacy electrified and entertained the crowd with their cultural performances. A distinguished alumnus was announced to Mr.MukhaladMohsin of 2010-14, Director, TajPharma Scientific Bureau. Iraq. # 20 Zukak, 56 Mahalat 405 Hay Al Algharhy 2, Almuthana Alsumaway-66001 for his entrepreneurship in professional carrier.
Highly appreciated the efforts made in organizing the alumni meet in a very grand way for the first time. Every one departed with the resolve to visit again and spread the message amongst all who could t able to visit this first alumni meet.
