Dr. K. Ramesh earned his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (1991), Master’s in Pharmaceutical Technology (1993), and Doctorate (2008) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. With over 23 years of experience in pharmacy education, he has actively participated in national and international conferences, QIP programs, and workshops sponsored by AICTE, UGC, DST, and ICMR. Dr. Ramesh has organized seminars and published research in reputed journals. In 2004, he became the founding principal of Karnataka College of Pharmacy, where his dynamic leadership and spiritual values have contributed significantly to the institution’s growth.

Dr. T. Prabhakar, born on 10th August 1966, is the Principal, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy at Karnataka College of Pharmacy. He completed his M.Pharm in 1993 from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, and earned his PhD in 2010 from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. With 35 years of experience in research, administration, and teaching, Dr. Prabhakar has guided one Ph.D. student and has 35 publications to his credit. He also served as a BOS member at RGUHS from 2018 to 2021.

Dr. C. Sreedhar, born on 20th May 1969, is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. He completed his M.Pharm in 1992 and PhD in 2009 from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. With 30 years of experience in research, administration, and teaching, he has guided 45 M.Pharm and 2 PhD students, currently mentoring 6 PhD students. Dr. Sreedhar holds one Indian patent and has 85 publications. Since 2019, he has been the KCP-IQAC coordinator.

Dr. Beny Baby, born on 25/02/1980, is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, she specializes in drug delivery systems. Dr. Beny has over 21 years of experience in teaching and research, including 2 patents and 56 research papers. She has secured 6 research grants and authored 4 books. Dr. Beny actively contributes as a peer reviewer, and serves on the Industry Institute Partnership Cell, Institution Innovation Council, and Institutional Research Committee. She has guided 63 projects and delivered 25 research presentations.

Dr. S Rajarajan has over 22 years of teaching and 2 years of industry experience, specializing in Industrial Pharmacy. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy and has authored two books in Pharmaceutics, along with one patent and one professional patent. He has guided 65+ M.Pharm students and published 75+ research papers. Active in seminars, workshops, and as a Chief Editor, Consultant, Reviewer, and Editorial board member for various journals, he is actively involved in commercial and research projects. A Life member of APTI, Dr. Rajarajan is a prominent figure in academia and industry.

Mrs. Kusu Susan Cyriac, born on 6th Feb 1982, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. She holds a B.Pharm from JSS College, Mysore, an M.Pharm from SASTRA University, Tamil Nadu, and is pursuing a PhD at Dayananda Sagar University. With 15+ years of academic experience, she has guided 30+ postgraduates and published 25 articles. Her research areas include Pharmacogenomics, Genetics, and Molecular Biology.

Dr. Balakeshwa Ramaiah, born on June 11, 1979, is Professor and Head of Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. With a PhD from JNTU, Hyderabad, he enhanced pharmacy practice at Bangalore Baptist Hospital through initiatives like medication reconciliation, prescription audits, and CME. As NSS Program Officer, he led outreach programs and contributed to NAAC and NABH accreditations. His research focuses on high-risk medications, pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoeconomics, and pharmacogenomics.

Dr. D. Baggiya Selvi, born on 01/06/1970 in Karasamangalam, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy. She earned her Diploma in Pharmacy from Christian Medical College, Vellore, a B.Pharm from Annamalai University, an M.Pharm from The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University, and a PhD from Acharya Nagarjuna University. With 29 years of teaching and 10 years of research experience, Dr. Selvi has published 10 papers in national and international journals. She has guided 7 group projects for B.Pharm students and attended numerous conferences and FDPs.

Dr. Harsha K. Tripathy, born on 27th Nov 1979, is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Karnataka College of Pharmacy. With 19 years of experience in teaching, research, administration, and the pharmaceutical industry, she holds degrees from Manipal College, Govt College of Pharmacy Bangalore, ICFAI Bangalore, and VIT (PhD). Since 2010, she has guided 15 M.Pharm students, serves as Criteria 6 head for NAAC accreditation, KCP-IQAC assistant coordinator, and has published 15 research papers.

Dr. Shibi Mary Thomas, born on 15/05/1981, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. With an M.Pharm and a Ph.D. from JJTU University, she brings 18 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Shibi is dedicated to pharmacy education, pharmacovigilance, and community pharmacy activities. She serves as the Criteria 1 Head in the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and has guided over 50 Pharm D students. Dr. Shibi has over 40 publications and has presented 10 posters at various conferences, earning a 2nd prize at IPC 2023.

Have an extensive exposure in the field of teaching formulation oriented pharmaceutical subjects with practical approach. She was born on 15th June 1982. She completed her UG and PG in pharmacy from RGUHS. She completed PhD in 2017. Her thrust research area of interest was on ocular drug delivery system. She has 5 international and 8 national publications in peer review journals. She has involved with departmental activities and guided 7 post graduate students in successful completion of their projects. Her enthusiasm in participation and article presentation in PCI, APTI and IPS sponsored conferences is continued.

Dr. Rashmi Mathews, born on 12/10/1972, is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. With a BPharm from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trivandrum, an MPharm from KLE’s College of Pharmacy, Belgaum, and a PhD from JNTUH, Hyderabad, she has 25+ years of academic experience. Specializing in liquid oral formulations, cancer targeting, and nanocarriers, she has published 20 papers, guided 49 projects, holds an Indian patent, and actively engages in seminars and conferences.

T. Sreenivasa Rao, born in October 1977, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis at Karnataka College of Pharmacy. With an M.Pharm degree from RGUHS, Bangalore (2001), he boasts 23 years of teaching and research experience. Mr. Rao is the Criteria 4 Head in the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), overseeing college accreditation. He has guided approximately 20 M.Pharm students and has published 30 research papers. His dedication to both academic excellence and professional development underscores his significant contributions to the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

U Rajashekhar, born on 27th November 1967, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, where he has been serving since 2009. With a Master’s in Pharmacy earned in 2009, he brings 15 years of experience in research and teaching. U Rajashekhar has guided approximately 12 M.Pharm students and has authored 16 publications. His work reflects a commitment to advancing pharmacological research and education.

Mrs. Manju S.V., born on 1st June 1977, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at SRIPMS, Coimbatore, where she has been teaching since 2010. She completed her B.Pharm (1998) and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2000) from the College of Pharmacy, SRIPMS. With 20 years of teaching experience, she has guided 10 M.Pharm students and currently mentors one. Mrs. Manju has 15 publications and has presented around 10 posters and oral presentations at conferences. Actively involved in curricular and co-curricular activities, she is a member of several committees, including IQAC NAAC criteria 5 and the Antiragging committee.

Mr. Sandipan Chatterjee, born on 31st December 1973, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. He completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Burdwan University, West Bengal (1996), B.Pharm (2004), and M.Pharm in Pharmacology (2007) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD from Sunrise University, Alwar. With 20 years of experience in research, administration, and teaching, he has guided around 20 M.Pharm students and has 10 publications to his credit. He has been a faculty member at Karnataka College of Pharmacy since 2004.

Dr. Deepak Kumar Jha born on 02-12-1985, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. He holds an M. Pharm and Ph.D. with nine years of teaching experience. Dr. Jha has authored 48 publications across various prestigious platforms and guided 13 students. He has contributed a book chapter on oleanolic acid and serves as a peer reviewer for four journals. An expert in pharmacology, molecular biology, and drug discovery, Dr. Jha excels in pre-clinical research, stem cell applications, clinical trial regulations, and compliance, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic and research excellence.

Dr. Blessy K George, born on 10-04-1991, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy since 2018. She holds a Pharm D from Bapuji Pharmacy College (2015) and is currently pursuing a PhD at JSS University, Mysuru. With six years of teaching and two years of industry experience, Dr. Blessy has attended 33 conferences and secured two research grants. She started her career as a quality analyst and worked as a Pharmacist/CRA at ICBio CRO. Her research focuses on clinical studies and community health. Dr. Blessy has guided 30 Pharm D students and published over 15 papers.

M. Gayathri Devi, born on 21-07-1990, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore, since 2019. She previously taught at Sri Sai College of Pharmacy, Vizianagaram, and Viswanadha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Visakhapatnam. She holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Srinivasa Rao College of Pharmacy and an MBA from Viswanadha Institute of Technology and Management. With 8.5 years of teaching experience, she is a registered pharmacist with 10 research publications. Her areas of interest include novel analytical methods and QbD approaches.

She has an Experience of 08 years in teaching. She holds more than 10 publications in reputed journals. She is Handling Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry for both Pharm D and B Pharmacy. Dr. Jeeva George, born on 13/02/1997, is an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy,Bangalore. A Pharm D graduate from M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, she focuseson pharmacogenetics, pharmacokinetics, and clinical studies. After working as a Junior Scientific Writer at Indigene, she joined academia in 2022. Dr. George completed her thesis on deprescribing in psychiatry, has six publications, presented at ISPOR Europe 2019 and IPCON-2023, and currently guides six Pharm D students.

Sachin Kumar Dubey, born on 25th February 1991, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. He completed his M.Pharm in 2018 from Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences. With over three and a half years of teaching experience, he has actively participated in various national and international conferences. His research interests include neurodegenerative diseases, anticancer studies, health economics, and public health. Sachin is dedicated to advancing knowledge in these areas and contributing to the academic community.

Mrs. Swetha Malika Devi. S, born on June 7, 1987, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, with two years of industrial and five years of teaching experience. She holds an M. Pharm from JNTU, Hyderabad, and a B. Pharmacy from Sri Padmavathi Mahila University, Tirupati. Mrs. Swetha has three publications, guided four undergraduate projects, and mentored two M. Pharm students. Her research focuses on novel drug delivery systems and nanotechnology.

Dr. Athira Krishnan, born on 28/10/1997, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy. A 26-year-old Pharm D graduate from the same institution, she focuses on clinical studies, pharmacogenetics, and community studies. Her notable work includes a publication on a community study among steel industry workers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she volunteered as a telemedicine assistant with Apthamitra for seven months. Following her passion for teaching, she returned to her alma mater in 2023.

Dr. B. R. Prahbudev, born on 05-06-1998, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Karnataka College of Pharmacy. With a Pharm-D degree and over 1.5 years of experience, he specializes in clinical studies, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, and community studies. Dr. Prahbudev is actively involved in Criteria 2 and 7, the NSS unit, and serves as a hospital quality coordinator for Pharm-D students. Mr. Tejas R, born on 01-11-1997, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. He holds a D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm from the same institution. Since December 2022, he has been contributing to the academic field, specializing in microemulsions, nanotechnology, and AI technology in research. His thesis focused on the formulation and evaluation of micro-emulsifying suppositories for malaria treatment. With two publications and experience mentoring students on microemulsion projects, Mr. Tejas is committed to bringing novel innovations to the pharmacy profession.
