Alumni association of Karnataka College of Pharmacy organized AAKCP its II Alumni Meet on 25th March 2017 with the theme Harmony one community many stories at Karnataka College of Pharmacy Campus.
The schedule of this meet was declared in the month of January itself and news spread far and wide. Many of the alumin’s played active role in contacting their batch mates and others. The meet was attended by majority of alumni the graduated in 2010 to 2016.
It was as special enthusiasm and excitement in the students to attend the II Alumni Meet and it was a great opportunity and pleasure to know about their accomplishments in professional lives. Most of them were visiting their Alma matter for the second time since their graduation and naturally they were thrilled to be back in campus again. They proudly took stroll around the campus where they lived and spent time. Prof.BasavarajRamnal Chairman Karanataka Education Trust was Chief Guest of the inaugural function of the II Alumni meet and addressed the inaugural function. He highlighted the importance and the role of Alumni and overall development of the institutions. Mrs.SuvarnaRamnal Chair Person Karnataka Education Trust graced the occasion. Dr. K. Ramesh Director Karnataka College of Pharmacy and President of AAKCP presided over the function. Dr. T. Prabhakar Principal KCP and Secretary AAKCP welcomed the guest and the motivated the students to endorse human values and morality for the holistic development of the students, also making an important announcement of AAKCP to initiative in granting cash price to honor the distinguished alumni Mr.VipulBharathi for his extraordinary achievement in academics and establishing BharatiPharma Industry in Gujarath as a contribution to the Society.
As alumni’s are the brand ambassador of the institute and important stake holders in assisting institute to meet the expectations of the industries and corporate sectors. Dr.Beny Baby Joint Secretary proposed vote of thanks. Mr.Sandeepan Chatterjee Treasurer, Mr. T. Srinivas Rao Joint Secretary, Mr.Suman, Mrs.BaggiyaSelvi all core executives members of AAKCP were present for the occasion to cherish their great efforts put in organizing and smooth conductance of meet in the grand way. All the Teachers and Non-Teaching staff of the institution who witnessed to this remarkable event held in a Successful manner. The alumni also visited their respective departments and made aware of the recent progress and activities of the institutes, in response the alumni also pledge their services in providing and coordinating the job placements for the institution. The evening was dedicated to fun and recreational activity followed by gala dinner. A feedback was also collected from alumni. The alumni meet closed at a very emotional note and appreciated the efforts put in organizing the meet. Everyone departed wishing to visit again and spread the message amongst all who could not visit this time
