Alumni association of Karnataka College of Pharmacy organized AAKCP its fifth Alumni Meet on 26th February 2022 with the theme Harmony one community many stories at Karnataka College of Pharmacy Campus.
The schedule of this meet was declared in the month of January itself and the same was informed through e-mail and whatsapp with great enthusiasm and excitement and around 70 students attended the fifth Alumni Meet. Teachers and present students in Karnataka College of Pharmacy had great opportunity to know about the achievements of the Alumni in their professional life. Some of them were visiting their Alma matter fifth time since their graduation and they felt much happy to be back in their campus and appreciated the developments in the institute and expressed their feelings to juniors.
Prof. Basavaraj Ramnal Chairman Karnataka Education Trust was Chief Guest and addressed the gathering. Mr. Pradeep Kumar Board of Trustee was the guest of honour for the fifth Alumni meet.
Dr. K. Ramesh Director Karnataka College of Pharmacy and President of AAKCP addressed the Alumni Association of Karnataka College of Pharmacy and welcome the guest Sought their assistance in providing in the inputs for Upliftment and improvement of students in training and education.
Dr. T. Prabhakar Principal KCP and Secretary AAKCP briefed the gathering regarding the objectives of AAKCP and enlighten that Alumina’s are the Brand Ambassadors of the institution and vibrant relationship must be maintained and nurtured and also shared their views and experiences from different fields where they were placed in around globe which was highly appreciated and acknowledged and also making an important announcement of AAKCP to initiative in granting cash prize to honour the distinguished alumni Ms.Shalini K P for her extraordinary achievement in her profession. Dr.Beny Baby proposed vote of thanks, Mr.Sandipan Chatterjee Treasuer of AAKCP, all the Executive member Dr.BaggiyaSelvi D, Dr.Deepthi D Kini, Dr.Shibi Mary Thomas and other core committee members were also present. Among the student representatives Mr.Brijesh R Naik, Mr.Suprem Kumar, Ms.EswarappaNandini, Ms.Blessy Elizabeth Babukutty and Ms.Charavi R were also present.
The alumni also visited their respective departments and made aware of the recent progress and activities of the institutes, in response the alumni also pledge their services in providing and coordinating the job placements for the institution. The evening was dedicated to fun and recreational activity followed by gala dinner. Feedback was also collected from alumni. The alumni meet closed at a very emotional note and appreciated the efforts put in organizing the meet. Everyone departed wishing to visit again and spread the message amongst all who could not visit this time.
Ms.Shalini Completed B Pharm in the Year 2012. Later worked as Pharmacist in Columbia Asia hospital, Hebbel for 6 months .Then have joined Emcure pharmaceutical Ltd as territory Manager and Worked for 2 years and got recognition as the Best performer in the team. Currently working in Sanofi India Ltd as Sr.Scientific sales Executive from 7 years and Got Many Awards and Certifications.-Five times Best Performer Award, Best Achiever, and Got Awards for Best communication and Skills in field of science and Therapy.
