Innovative strategies in drug discovery
A Seminar on current strategy and overview of research in drug discovery was organised by department of pharmaceutical analysis and pharmacology at the auditorium in Karnataka college of Pharmacy , Bangalore 9th august 2024 between 10am-5pm the seminar began with welcome address by Miss. Sahana K fallowed by acknowledging the guest by Miss. Sherlin S K .
Dr. Harsha K Tripati, Professor Department of Pharmaceutical analysis gave a brief bio data about the speaker Dr.Subhash S Karki.
Dr. Subhash S Karki spoke on the topic design of Disarib as BCI, inhibitor the seminar gave an outline about development of Disarib and Elucidation of Disarib mechanism by its efficacy in allograft and xenograft mouse model .
Dr. Hariprasad M G gave seminar on the topic “innovative strategies in drug discovery “ The siRNA approach the seminar explored the use of siRNA and novel approach in drug discovery and about the impact of siRNA research on pharmaceutical industry .
Dr Suman Samaddar gave seminar on the topic “Newer approaches towards futuristic drug discovery” the seminar gave an outline about innovative approaches in drug discovery and also about personalised , precision and predictive medicine.
Around 120 people including faculties and students participated. event was concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs M Gayatri Devi , assistant professor of Pharmaceutical analysis.
